THE WORLD

The events that unfold in the world have their uses, causes and purposes in the spiritual world. And we can witness both meaningful and absurd events in the world because humans are in spiritual equilibrium. They are free to intend and manifest the harmonic, real and rational purposes of Heaven or the evil (selfish), discordant, absurd and nefarious purposes of hell. Therefore, by their behavior and actions, we can readily detect that some humans subsist in reality and rationality while others live in their selfish world of fantasies, lies and insanity.

The human mind is rational because it evolved in correspondence with the rational form of Heaven. And the human will is free to choose what to love because it evolved in correspondence with the real substance of Heaven or Divine Love. Thus, human beings freely choose what they love and justify their intentions and actions by means of their rationality.

Humans continually generate and experience a sense of who they are from their free choices and actions. Only what they do from the freedom of their will and the arguments of their rationality defines and establishes their state of being. Thus, every moment of their life on Earth, humans are molding and remolding their own being by what they freely intend, rationalize and do.

By freely choosing to love what is evil, rationalizing it by falsehoods and lies and acting it out in the world, they are generating their own hell. Or, by freely choosing to love what is Good, rationalizing it by means of Truth and doing it, they generate their own Heaven.

God generated the universe from His substance (Love) and form (Wisdom) in order to produce a Heaven of angels from the human race. It is by means of this Heaven that His Love is realized or put into effect. But God must allow hell to subsist because Heaven can only be realized through freedom and rationality. And, when humans freely choose to reject God, they generate their own hell of selfishness and insanity. While in the spiritual equilibrium of Earth, every human being is still able to change his mind and heart.
